Cheltenham March 22. 1820 My Dear Sir, With great thankfulness to Almighty God do I acquaint you that on my mentioning to Mr Marsh your wishes that I could pursue my studies under him, he instantly expressed his desire to have me near him and a small humble cottage is taken for our reception. I have commenced the grammar and expect to lay a good & solid foundation by the time I go to Cheltenham. I have called on Mr Jervin (?) but as Mr Marsh receives me so soon, there will be little need of his kindly proffered assistance— I beg my rememberancesremembrances to the family at the house And believe me My Dear Sir Yours most truly Henry Williams
